Primary baths have moved on from the days of inefficient over sized whirlpool jetted tubs to new sleek soaking tubs, air jet options for better hygiene and digital fixtures for ease of control and temperature stability in showers. Heated towel warmers and in floor heat add comfort to these rooms that is especially desirable in the cold winters of Minnesota.

PRIMARY BATH SANCTUARY

This clients luxurious primary bath is a haven of peace and relaxation and engages the tranquility of their woodland back yard. It includes a Thermasol digital steam shower, Delta faucet, Statuary Classique quartz walls and ceiling, custom glass shower door with matte black hardware and black sliced pebble mosaic floor and niche tile.

The freestanding soaking tub framed by the matte black tile and fixtures add depth to the room and frame the woodland views. The vanity and trim is knotty alder with a custom stain match to other trim throughout the home. Nickel gap woodwork on the walls is painted Pure White and brings another texture and accent in this room.

The tub is by Signature hardware, Toilet by Toto and faucets are Delta Strike matte black. The vanity is a custom piece with knotty alder shaker doors.

When the clients requested a light, bright bathroom, we knew we needed to add a window and re format the layout. This wonderful bathroom engages nature, but still remains private, with beautiful natural stone tile in the shower and contemporary Zonavita cabinets.

This modern, clean bathroom with cool tile accents was part of a larger whole home remodel. The black floor and niche tile popped out from the textured wall tile in the walk in shower. The custom vanity and LVT floor harmonized nicely with the tile.

The client wanted a Toto washlet bidet seat too, which has become more popular in the last few years.

SE Minneapolis

Quite the transformation, the original bathroom was very old, inefficiently designed and cold!

The new one has modern porcelain tile, linen closet, vanity, walk in shower and digital controls. With the addition of heated floors and towel warmer to take off the Minnesota chill. This bathroom is now cool looking but cozy!

POWDER ROOM - FITTING IT IN!

These Minneapolis homeowners had wished for a 1st floor powder room for many years. Wise Design & Remodel found a way! We transformed an unused area into a space that functioned and also fitted cohesively into the home.

This was achieved by partitioning the existing space, extensive plumbing and drainage relocation. With trim finishes that felt like they belonged and also leaving the original chimney brick exposed to add character!

Making a small bathroom bigger

This bathroom was redesigned to maximize the space and create a very unique bathroom with some lovely touches. Check out the custom stain glass window!

Coolidge Bath

This basement bathroom has striking green herringbone tiles which highlight the brushed brass hardware. With a beautiful LVT floor and charming vanity.

MODERN BATH

This modern primary bath remodel includes Zonavita melamine cabinets with plenty of drawer space and a tall linen closet. Multi function shower with beautiful blue tile and small marble corner bench/footrest. The custom glass enclosure sits on quartz capped knee walls.

The alcove set soaking tub is framed with subway tile and has peaceful woodland views. The double vanity has quartz counters with individual mirrors and flanking wall sconces. The bathroom also includes a Toto washlet toilet.

MARBLE SHOWER

This condo shower remodel updated a tired shower tub combo into a luxurious walk in shower, with beautiful marble tile, herringbone mosaic floor and arabesque accents! Luxury!

Eden Prairie Oasis

This primary bath was Wise Design & Remodel’s fourth remodel for an Eden Prairie family. It features a free-standing Jacuzzi Serafina soaking tub, Decor custom vanity with mirrored storage towers, private water closet, built-in linen cabinet and a large ceramic tile shower with a marble niche and heavy glass enclosure. Although the couple wanted his and hers storage with interior outlets to eliminate clutter and conflict, they were content to share a sink. The elegant crown molding, Quartz surfaces and a chandelier elevate the atmosphere. But simple wainscoting and dark Karndean Art Select – Winter Oak luxury vinyl plank flooring keep it grounded. They decided against a shower bench, hand shower and grab bar. Plumbing fixtures are from the Kohler Artifacts Collection. The client utilized her collection of Pinterest pictures to communicate what she envisioned for the private retreat.

FULLY TILED

This basement 3/4 bath remodel is tiled floor to ceiling. With heated floors and natural cedar t&g ceiling for character, the heated towel warmer keeps things cosy with warm dry towels on demand.
